I MISSED YOU TOO BB
Violet walked slowly as she approached Cassie’s house. She hadn’t seen her for months. The incident that happened with the elephants caused the two to separate. Violet had no idea what happened, all she remembered was a bright flash, then nothing. It had taken up till now to finally make her way back to Earth.
It felt like thousands of years, but Violet had finally done it. With each step, Violet could feel the gravity pull her down. She was so weak, but she had to keep going, “So close,” she whispered.
She was now in front of the house, the garden flourishing like always. She smiled, for the first time. Violet trotted up to the door, a spasm flared through her, “Not again.” Ten or more times she flashed quickly between her cat form and her human form. Her bell had gone missing, and she couldn’t control herself anymore.
The spasm caused Violet to become progressively weaker than she had been before. She raised her hand to ring the doorbell, but as quickly as someone would blink, she fell over on the porch causing pots of flowers to knock over.
Violet began to shake uncontrollably. She’d been through much worse, and witnessed horrid things, but nothing as horrible and heartbreaking as this. Tears welled in her eyes as she watched him double over and shout wildly at the thing inside of his head.
The girl kept her distance as she spoke to the Doctor, her voice shaky, “You can’t be like this because you are the greatest man in the universe. You’re a protector, a savior. You’re everything and so much more.” Violet’s voice became less shaky and more powerful her thoughts spilled out of her mouth, “You’ve saved so many people that don’t even know it. You’re the best thing that has ever happened to any one that you’ve ever met. You are not a murder like that thing inside your head. You’re nothing like that pathetic monster attempting to overpower you. Don’t you see?! You’re more powerful than this, more powerful than that thing,” Violet hissed as she pointed to his head. “He’ll never become like you, and you know it.”
A wave of pain ran through the Doctor, and he threw his head back and screamed in agony. Then, just as quickly, he was calm. Eerily calm.
The next voice that came out of the Doctor’s mouth was not his own, but rather belonged to the monster inhabiting his mind. “I don’t think you know quite what you’re dealing with, Child of Gallifrey. Did you ever stop to wonder why anyone might want you dead? Or, better still, who could possibly loath you that much?”
“Stop!” the Doctor protested in his own voice.
“You see? He’s fighting for you, even now,” the unfamiliar voice spoke through the Doctor once more. “Do you think he’d still be fighting, if he knew the truth?”
“That’s enough!” the Doctor growled. “Violet may not know yet what she’s dealing with…but I do, now, and I name you, Urbphana!”
As soon as the word left his mouth, the Doctor collapsed in a heap. The whispers kept going, even while he was out of consciousness. but they had flown out of his head, and they seemed to echo off every structure they passed, growing quieter and quieter the further away they got.
After a few seconds, the Doctor was able to force his eyes open. “Well,” he said with a bemused expression. “That ought to buy us some time. Let’s get this sorted, shall we?”
Violet stood frozen nearly the entire time the event was occurring. She couldn’t move nor tear her eyes away from the spot that the Doctor had been laying. A sick feeling enveloped her being. Who would want her dead? She had no idea. Violet didn’t think she had ever caused harm to anyone. If she did, she definitely didn’t remember. But who… who would go so far as to sick the Doctor on her? That wasn’t something she was okay with.
Her blood began to boil, and her eyebrows furrowed. Anger. Pure anger coursed through her veins, a glow emitted itself from her bell, and her eyes began to glow a bright gold. This had never happened before, so much power, but from where?
As quickly as it had come, it faded. Violet was wide eyed and frightened. She nearly collapsed but caught herself before she could hit the ground.
“What… what was all of that?” she stammered walking towards the Doctor. “Who would do any of that? And what did you say that caused it to leave…?”
Violet was entirely intrigued by the girl’s story. It seemed a whole lot better than her own. She took in every detail, imagining the girl in a tall tower of a castle like depicted in movies. She smiled as the girl talked more and more of her past and the worm holes and The Doctor. The dear Doctor.
When it got to the book part, she couldn’t help but curiously tilt her head to the side. When Aurora finished Violet couldn’t help but continue to smile at her.
She straightened her head then questioned, “Have you read any of the book?”
“Of course I have…I was curious. Yes, it’s a little disrespectful to read from a dead woman’s diary, but… I was supposed to read it. It’s like the coolest fairytale in the universe, everything about her is so… familiar? But yet so distant. Can’t wait ‘till I meet her. I suppose I’ll have to find the Doctor first…”
Her expression saddened at the mention of him. How long had it been since she last saw him? And by him she meant the face she first knew.
“I’ve found him…many times. Never the right Doctor. Looking for his 11th self. He thinks he knows why I have that book, but he’s wrong.”
“His 11th self seems to be the trickiest to find. It’s always his 9th or 10th, never any of the others,” Violet’s mind shuffled through memories of each, trying to see if there was any clue in which his 11th self would show. But she couldn’t think of anything that would be helpful. “All I know is that his 11th self is very fond of fish fingers and custard.” She laughed softly, “As well as Jammie Dodgers.”
“Well if the diary was given to you, of course you were meant to read it! The Doctor doesn’t just five stuff out for no reason.” Violet smiled reassuringly at the girl, “You’ll meet his 11th self soon enough, I’m sure. As well as the woman behind the book.”
I have two drafts that I need to get to (You know who you are)
In the mean time, would anyone like anything? Seriously. I really want to get Violet back up and running since I’ve been gone for so long.
Seriously.
Please.
Blueberry?
So I was reading up on Avengers trivia and apparently RDJ kept food hidden all over this set and they couldn’t find where it was so they just kinda let him continue doing it. So that’s his actual food he’s offering and whenever he’s eating in a scene, it’s not scripted. He was just hungry.
RDJ is a squirrel
I will never NOT reblog this
